Artech offers a broad range of IT SOW/project services developed to support clients' software and infrastructure requirements.
Project delivery and management services play a critical role in today's business environment. It is the art of balancing competing objectives, managing risks, and overcoming constraints to successfully deliver a product or service, which meets the needs of both customers and their end users.
Artech specializes in providing:
- A framework for managing software-intensive projects
- Practical guidelines for planning, staffing, executing and monitoring projects
Artech offers multiple project delivery models from which our clients can choose.
Artech's offshore service delivery model provides the most cost effective utilization of resources. The offshore model can also be used successfully to provide extended or round-the-clock coverage. Click here for an illustration of Artech's Offshore Delivery Methodology.
This model can be used to provide delivery in cases where the client has a constraint against going offshore (due to political or security considerations) but does not mind work being done at a remote location. Artech's offsite development center in New Jersey offers this advantage.
This model is used to provide project delivery when the client has a preference that all project work be done on premises. This preference may be guided by security requirements, need for constant participation of client personnel in project development or even political considerations. Artech's onsite model also works better when there is need of frequent and constant interaction with client personnel or where the requirements are expected to change continuously.
Many of Artech's clients have nearshore facilities; thus, Artech has launched a nearshore presence in order to support its clients' needs in one or more North America nearshore countries.
Hybrid Service Delivery Model
A combination of onsite / offsite / nearshore / offshore service delivery model is available to Artech's clients. A hybrid distribution can simultaneously take advantage of multiple geographical benefits, including but not limited to 24x7 resources, back-end support from lower cost facilities, skill-set capabilities across borders, and so forth.
Artech offers multiple commercial models from which clients can choose.
These models offer comfort and flexibility in an extremely cost effective manner. Some commercial models that we offer are listed below. Artech is flexible in restructuring the model to meet its client's requirements.
Time & Materials (T&M)
In cases where the work is better defined in terms of people (e.g. a maintenance project needing the support of 4 people full time), Artech offers time and material pricing. In such a case, Artech's resources will be self managed, with a senior member of the team fulfilling the role of project manager. Artech will submit regular status reports and time sheets to the client for their approval.
Artech's Quality Management System and quality-certified development centers ensure that all deliveries meet exacting standards. Artech's QMS processes provide clients the following benefits:
- Significant Cost Savings
- Commercial model
- Quality Processes
- Dedicated Development Space, Hardware, Software, Communication Links and Manpower Resources
- Access to a large and diverse pool of Skilled Professionals
- Shortened Lead Times for Project Start-Ups
- Shortened Development Cycles (24x7 Approach)
- On Time Deliveries within Budgeted Costs
- Work delivered to committed service levels
- Access to Senior Management for Project Issues
- Extensive Experience of working with other Fortune 500 clients in various domains
Flexible Time and Materials
Artech provides flexibility to allow for changes in the staffing level as required. This allows Artech's clients to maintain optimum staffing levels with provision to ramp up resources (or reduce resources) based on business requirements.
Artech offers firm fixed price quotes for projects where the scope of work and processes have been clearly defined and agreed to in the beginning. In cases where this is not possible at the beginning of an engagement but is expected to happen early into the engagement, Artech can offer an initial time and material pricing model based on mutually agreed staffing levels. After attaining a more defined understanding of the application and its framework, Artech will be in a better position to offer an alternative, fixed price model for specific projects.
