CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ --
October 18, 2007 -- Artech India won the 2007 Amity Leadership Award for
Excellence in Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) services. The award was won against the best
industry practitioners in India and was presented by the Amity Business School in Noida.
The Amity Leadership Awards were instituted to acknowledge
brilliance in the areas of leadership, policy-making, academics and strategy as well as people,
partnerships, corporations and institutions associated with exemplary performance and creating
value for all stakeholders.
Elaborating on Artech’s successful RPO program, Mr. Yogendra
Tripathi, Senior Vice President of Artech India, said, “Our success lies with the mature model for
servicing clients of Artech US. Our service in RPO division helps the industry to remove the
operational recruitment activity burden. We reduce overall recruitment cost by utilizing best
practices and replacing a fixed cost base with a variable charging structure.”
Mr. Tripathi accepted the award in the presence of distinguished
executives from corporate houses, high commissioners, ambassadors and senior ministry officials.
The function was presided by Maneka Gandhi and attended by Kiran Bedi (IPS); Professor Shekhar
Chaudhry, Director IIM Kolkotta, Vice Chancellor of the University of Madras; and Professor Loy
Letih, Chief Executive Officer, Interactive University, Edinburgh, UK.
